Siasia Or Oliseh Who Takes Over Keshi’s Job

There are glaring indications that a new indigenous coach might be in the making to take over Keshi’s Eagles job as Chief Coach of the Super Eagles.

Rumour making the round has it that either Siasia or Oliseh might just be the one to fill up the shaky Keshi position as Eagles contracted coach.

Siasia from the past records might have some interesting achievements to interest Nigerians and the Nigeria Football Federation, and might attract the sympathy of the general football loving public, if wishes are horses, Siasia might claim that job favourably.

Oliseh, on his part has impressed Nigerians and all good football followers for his exploit as a player with Super Eagles in the 1994 Nations Cup and USA 94 squad.

Again, Oliseh is a radio television coach and had attracted the attention of many Nigerians, he might be contacted to prove his worth in an interview, if that happens, Oliseh might be one of the favoured candidate to take over the position of Keshi.

Will NFF put Siasia and Oliseh in-charge to manage the Super Eagles as it is done under Keshi, Daniel Amokachi and Keshi in the saddle.

Keshi’s position is not known as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has not come out to say whether his contract will be renewed.

He was put in-charge of the Eagles qualifier matches of Congo and South Africa, without contract, with the result recorded by Keshi in the two games, Keshi might have just kissed his job goodbye.

Siasia or Oliseh, Nigerians need a good sound coach, either indigenous or foreign, to manage the Super Eagles.

Many soccer pundits are of the opinion that the Nigeria Football Federation which is yet to settle down should go for indigenous coach rather than foreign coach.

Former Super Eagles goal tender, Emmanuel Babayaro has come out to say that no Nigerian coach is good enough to manage the Super Eagles.

Whether this is true or false, let the Nigerian coaches, whoever that gets the job should prove either Emmanuel Babayaro wrong or right. While Nigerians wait for the contracting of a new coach for the Super Eagles. ###
