Emeka Nelson is the proprietor of Emeka United football Club, featuring in the ongoing High Chief Ateke 5-A-side Tournament at Okochiri in Okrika Local Government Area.
Speaking to The Newswriter after his team has defeated Sekuro United 3-1 in the opening match in the 2nd edition of Ateke Tom Wakirike 5-A-side Unity Tournament.
According to Nelson, he has it in mind to discover the Ronaldos and Messis in the grassroots hence he floated Emeka United to give such hidden abundant soccer talents to excel to limelight like the Messi and Ronaldo.
“I will further any that shows that promising future football instinct to any level so that such young unknown players could fend for themselves as well as live a better life in the society.
He also appealed to others to key into ventures like this, to discover talented hidden football talents in the Niger Delta.
“I will not only discover them and leave them half way, rather, I will see them through their soccer career. Where it becomes so cumbersome to me, I will partner with those who are professionals and have the willing heart to help talented young footballers to grow to their peck.” The generous Emeka Nelson enthused.
