Dep Gov. Office: Hard Times Await Absentee Workers

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry-Banigo has assured staff of her office that priority would be given to their welfare.

Dr. Banigo stated this during a maiden meeting with staff of her office.

She assured that staff would be adequately trained noting ”Administration is the back-bone of every organization and should be taken seriously to achieve increase productivity”.

he warned that absenteeism from duty and lackadaisical attitude will not be tolerated in her administration while urging every staff to be committed to their duties promising that diligence to duty would attract appropriate rewards.

Responding on behalf of the staff, the Permanent Secretary Dr. George Nwaeke assured the Deputy Governor of their total support and adherence to Civil Service rules.

Dr. Nwaeke thanked the Deputy Governor for the opportunity given to them to serve the State.
