Prevailing circumstances may compel the best African safe hand in the post. Many encounter had the Nigeria Football Federation had with the outspoken gentle goaltender in the past, even as he was an assistant captain of the Super Eagles.

This is because Enyeama voiced his displeasure in some of the happenings asserted by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over the Eagles (players).

In doing that, the NFF had found Enyeama wanting, hence the NFF is calling for his crucifixion.
