Coach Ere Sacked, Allen Takes Over

Head coach of Sharks football club of Port Harcourt, Ere Dokubo has been sacked due to poor performance.

Ere Dokubo was the assistance coach, assisting former head coach of Sharks, Gbenga Ogunbote.

At the exist of Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, the responsibility of taking Sharks out of relegation fell on the shoulders of Ere Dokubo, hence the Kalabari born coach handled all the matches involving Sharks in the Nigeria professional football league while Gbenga Ogunabote abandoned Sharks for shooting stars.

From the matches Ere Dokubo prosecuted proved that, the proud self made Kalabari born coach has nothing to offer Sharks as to lift Sharks out of relegation zone.

In a recent match handled by Coach Ere Dokubo between Sharks and Nassarawa Utd in week 16, at Sharks stadium saw toothless Sharks giving away all her chances at goal.

The current crop of players in Sharks cannot help Sharks to swim out of relegation waters, even millions of naira are paid to each player under Coach Ere Dokubo. Sharks allowed Nassarawa Utd played goalless draw at their ground.

Not happy with Ere Dokubo’s performance, the management of Sharks pronounced his sack the following day.

Coach Festus Allen who has been on the technical crew along side with Gbenga Ogunbote was saddled with the responsibility to tinker the team for the moment.

Coach Festus Allen before coming over to Sharks had coached ABS in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

All eyes now focused on Coach Festus Allen for the remaining matches involving Sharks. ###
