The Supervising councilor of Youths and Sports of Degema Local Government Council (Delga), Hon. Benjamin Ebini-Diri has given reason why he has devoted time and his resources to seeing that Delga feature prominently in the on-going Go-Round/Swan secondary schools athletics championship, 2016.
According to him, he is doing everything for the love he has for the local government council.
Hence he has committed his time, resources with deep passion to see that the Delga LGA is well presented at the all LGAs Go-Round/Sawn secondary schools athletics championship when there was no fund even approved for the championship.
However, the soft spoken Hon. supervisory councilor of youths and sports of Delga said, he believes that the council will surely support his effort after everything, because, the Caretaker committee chairman of the council is a very understanding man, who encourages hard work.
At the time of filing in this report, Delga has started raking in some medals, hopeful by the time the championship come to a close, Delga will also be amongst the 3 best LGAs out of the 23 LGAs featuring in the championship.
The championship ends Thursday 4th of February, 2016 officially, while participating LGAs shall all depart to their various LGAs Friday 5th of February. ###
