An Eternal Reward

Just like what the Book of Liberty says, “all hgold-trophyave sinned and come short to the glory of God”. This is indisputable and no one has faulted it. On daily basis men and women commit sins knowingly or unknowingly, especially in this era of social media, sins are common and not difficult to identify. Infact, people take pleasure in committing sins.

In our cotemporary Nigerian society sins appear in different ways such as stealing, idol worship, kidnapping, violence, fornication, adultery, lying, bribing, drunkenness among all kinds of atrocities.

The Holy Bible recorded it clearly that those who engage themselves in these aforementioned sins have no place in heaven. Heaven is the goal of every believer, it will be very painful after all our struggle here on earth, one will find him or herself in the hottest part of the hell fire. There is no controversy, heaven is real, and hell is also real. Life is a mystery and also a journey. And one day each one of us shall complete the journey. Thereafter we shall appear before the judgment seat of Christ, and give account of what we have done while on earth.

The mystery  of this, is that everybody both the rich and poor, presidents and governors, senators and ministers, council chairmen and councilors  shall all stand before the judgment seat.

The one that sit on that judgment throne take no bribe. The Bible says that, that the incorruptible judge lives in heaven and does whatsoever that pleases Him.

After the judgment, everyone shall receive reward(s). It is better for us to strive hard to receive these rewards. These heavenly rewards surpass all earthly titles, or academic certificates.

Daniel refuses an earthly reward in the land of Babylon, knowing well that the original reward is with the author of life. However, Jesus said, “behold I come quickly and my reward is with me. The eternal reward is with the creator, and one day we all shall receive that reward and ever be with Him in eternity.

According to a song writer, “To him that overcometh, a crown of life shall be, He with the King of glory shall reign eternally”. ###
