Until Nigerians, particularly the political class, at all levels of Government, begin to replicate some of those facilities they travel overseas to enjoy, to the detriment of the poor masses, by building such in this country, for the good use of every Nigerian, then and only then would this Nation be better for it.
Thanks to these men and woman that have dedicated their time and resources to be members of Board of Trustees BOT, to build the anticipated Port Harcourt Cancer centre PHCC, to be domiciled in Rivers State, Nigeria.

Lady Josephine Diete-Spiff, MD/CEO of Titare Microfinance Bank and Vice Chairman, PHCC BOT, said it was a great day for all that came to partner with the centre. She added, “1 became a part of this because I saw my father scream when I was young. If I had known what I knew today, may be I would have done something then”.
Lady Josephine, who described cancer as no respecter of any man, told guests that someone has come to blaze the trail for the disease that was said not to be curable. She urged all that came to be part of the event and that they can do it, or make a difference by supporting to build the first cancer centre in Nigeria here in Port Harcourt.
She commended the Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Seriake Dickson for his enormous support to the project, her husband, HRM. King Alfred P. Diete-Spiff, who chaired the event, the BOT Chairman, Mr. O.C.J. Okocha and all the members of BOT for coming together despite the short time of notice given to them.
The 2011 Peoples Democratic Party PDP Federal House of Representatives aspirant in Brass-Nembe Federal Constituency of Bayelsa State, enjoined everyone to TEXT CANCER to 4477 for just N100 to help save a life.
While Rev. chris Oarhe, the General Overseer of Hill-Top church, opined that the secret of a successful man was not on what he does once, but what he does continuously, affirming that the God of continuity will continue to bless and remember all that are partnering in building the Port Harcourt Cancer Centre. Rev. Chris added that the BOT members have in one way or the other already touched the lives of people and continued in touching the lives of others through the Port Harcourt Cancer Centre.
Speaking also, Mrs. Gloria Izorfu, who represented the Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Seriake Henry Dickson, expressed the commitment and desire of the State Governor towards the actualization of the PHCC and the need to have such project in Bayelsa State, to help reduce the stress of coming to Port Harcourt.
