FCMB Honours Staff …Encourages Customers To Embrace POS

The Ikwerre Road Branch of First City Monument Bank, (FCMB), Port Harcourt, Rivers State has commended as well as given awards to deserving staff.
The bank showed the appreciation to its staff in a memorable end of year get-together, spiced up with music, comedy, dances and buffet.
Speaking with The Newswriter at the event on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, the Branch Manager, Mrs. Tari Alagoma A, in describing her team, said, “my staff are hardworking, focused, dedicated and committed to duty whether I am there or not. They have good customer relations and give customers from all walks of life wonderful, captivating smile that had bonded the ties between us and our clients. Infact my staff is God’s gift to me and FCMB. I pray for God’s continued blessings upon their lives.”
Mrs. Alagoma Tari disclosed that although as humans they step on each other’s toes, they do not let the sun go down before setting their differences.
On their social responsibilities, Mrs. Tari revealed thus, “we have been going to schools to donate books to students. We also go to share with the motherless babies and other less privileged ones in the society during festive periods like the Christmas. We also have contributed immensely to the government to execute her projects”.
Mrs. Alagoma encouraged customers to embrace the “Point of Sale” (POS) scheme to avoid carrying so much cash about to avoid danger and stress. She opined that clients will come to terms with this positive development in the banking sector.
Earlier, the Zonal Head of FCMB, Mrs. Kate Festus Abibo, who was described as a beautiful, hardworking, friendly and a servant leader by the Branch manager, Mrs. Tari, commended the team spirit, dedication, honesty, transparency and diligence to duty of the staff of the Ikwerre Road Branch and prayed God to keep and promote the workers from strength to strength, grace to grace.
Awards were presented to the following deserving staff: Mr. Collins Odigwe (Best Teller), Gladys (Best Cleaner), Skebee Esu (Best Security) Mr. Ambrosse Achogbuo (Best DSA) and Mr. Moses Ishikaku (Best Driver).
One of the awardees, Mr. Ambrosse Achogbuo, placed his success on hard work, trust in God, good customer relations and good language or communication skill, thanking the management for finding him worthy.
Finally, Mr. Okechukwu Konkwo, Operation Manager, stated that FCMB is profitable, strong and have special ways of delivering service to humanity.
“Customers money is safe with this bank,” he advocated. ###
