19-Year-Old Ex-Militant Turns Crusader Of Soccer Talents

Nineteen year old Emmanuel Braide, former militant has turned crusader of souls in the soccer circle.
Emmanuel Braide, a young budding football talent himself gave up militancy after tasting the other side of the trade.
According to him, “I found out that the militancy life could not fetch me any meaningful life, while I know that I have a natural football talent to make it big, hence I gave up the trade to face my football legal career to make it in life”, he stated.
The repented militant stated that he was rehabilitated through Chief A. K. Horsfall where Chief Godspower Kokoriko discovered him in one of his organized soccer talent hunt programmes.
He further hinted our newsdesk that he is a talented natural footballer and believed so much in his talent that one day through his talent he will make it in life, adding, “God gave me footballing talent, so that I will make a living out of it”.
Speaking further, he said he has dropped the life of militancy to face his football career, pointing out that he believed through his God given football talent, he will make it in life one day.
Explaining to our newsdesk sorrowfully at Port Harcourt on the 31st of December, 2011, shortly after the Jesus Football Cup organized by Chief Godspower Kokoriko was concluded, he disclosed that what informed his taking to militancy life was hardship.
Explaining further, why he changed from his former militancy life to take a more decent life, he said, he found out that his former militancy life could not fetch him a legal means of earning a good life. Besides he has a natural God given football talent that could fetch him a more decent living. He said he has hope to face his football career with vigour as to make it big.
Emmanuel Braide believed his football career could take him to greater height in life, where he would be respected and regarded by the society with encomium.
He appreciated Chief Godspower Kokoriko and Chief A. K. Horsfall for being there for him in encouraging him day and night, while extending the appreciation to all his friends who had been encouraging and believing in his football talent, especially his football mate and friend Atiku, who is now playing in Norway.
Emmanuel Braide, appealed to the Amaechi-led government to help him achieve his football talent by giving him every assistance he deserves.

Just 31st December. 2011 Emmanuel Braide was seen with Chief Kokoriko, as the duo were both on the side lines talking to players discovered from Jesus Football cup.
Emmanuel Braide, hoped to be an aspiration to other youths in the Niger Delta as he appeals to youths to take to their talents rather than militancy.
