The Peoples Democratic Party since its advent as the ruling party of Nigeria in 1999 had witnessed one problem or the other.
In the latest squabble between the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, 27 governors in the federation and National Working Committee (NWC), Tukur is accused of high handedness, distrust and keeping malice with members of NWC.
The crisis worsened when the ten working NWC held meeting without the knowledge of Alhaji Tukur, annulling the recent conducted congress at Adamawa State which the national chairman sees as betrayal, the governors on the other hand called for Bamanga Tukur’s resignation, these has deepened the crises in PDP.

“When you put them in power they will ensure that they retain the power, even after their tenure they put their people who may not be qualified for the position, but there are people that are more qualified than them, they sideline such persons and put their people in the name of godfatherism.
