Ogunbote Replaces Eguavoen As Technical Adviser For Sharks

Sharks football club of Port Harcourt last Sunday 31st March, 2013 has unveiled the new technical adviser of the club; he is former Sunshine Stars football club of Akure, Gbenga Ogunbote.

Augustine Eguavoen last week threw in the towel by leaving Sharks over lack of contract agreement.

The former Super Eagles coach was last year signed to thinker the Port Harcourt side and was in a press briefing unveiled to the entire soccer fans in Port Harcourt. After showing his interest and passion to settle down to work, it became cleared that a working contract has not been given to Equavoen to sign.

The CAF cup winning coach with Enyimba football club of Aba cried to the listening hears of soccer fans saying that he needs his working contract to properly settle to work as the technical adviser of Sharks football club.

When this plea was not hearken to Eguavoen in a text message sent to the General Manager of Shark, Okey Kpaluku, told him that he is no longer with Sharks football club as the club technical Adviser, for failure of the management to provide him his working contract. To this effect, without wasting time Gbenga Ogunbote of Sunshine was contracted and unveiled before soccer fans and the media at Port Harcourt during the Port Harcourt derby between Sharks and Dolphins at Sharks stadium on Sunday 31st March, 2013 as the new Sharks technical adviser, replacing Augustus Eguavoen.

In his acceptance speech, Ogunbote, the new Technical Adviser said he is aware of the situation of Sharks and offered to put in his best to see that Sharks is not relegated to the lower league. He added that he is sure that Sharks under his guidance will maintain good standing position in the league in the 2012/2013.

Sharks fans are waiting to see the miracle Ogunbote will perform with their darling side at the end of the 2012/2013 football season. ###
