Is Christianity Superior To African Religions?

Christianity originated from transformation or harmonization of heathen Roman practices with some doctrines put forth by Yahoshea Meshiyach and his disciples while African religions can be adequately represented by Egyptoism.

For scholarly proof that Christianity is a continuation of pagan Roman traditions let us reference a scholar, A. C Flick in his book called “The Rise of the medieval church”, page 168 which states, “The removal of the capital” of the Empire from Rome to Constantinapole in 330 AD left the western church practically free from imperial power to develop its own organization. The Bishop of Rome, in the seat of the Caesar was now the greatest man in the west, and was soon forced to become the political as well as the spiritual head”.

Again, Adolf Harnock in his book, “what is Christianity” page 269,  270 supported it in this form, “whatever Roman elements left under the protection of the Bishop of Rome, who was the chief person there after the Emperors disappearance. The Roman church in this way privily pushed itself into the place of Roman world power, of which it is the actual continuation, the empire has not perished, but has only undergone a transformation. It (the Catholic church) is a political creation, and is imposing as a world empire, because it is a continuation of the Roman Empire. The Pope who calls himself King and Pontifex Maximum is Caesar successor”.

Some of the underlying teneth of Christian theology were culled from ancient Egypt an Roman pagan beleifs. And Egypt is a sum prefix that represent African religion.

History records that the mythology of Egypt embraces and extensive pantheon of gods and goddesses as obtainable in other ancient societies as Rome. While Egyptians searched for Yahweh, they gravitated toward worshipping that which sustained their daily life. (The sun), thus under the name of Amen-Ra, they venerated the sovereign lord of the sky.

Sun worship of Egypt continued in the days of Greek dominion and later to become the great religious order of Roman Empire which it passed unto Christianity.

The Egypt and Roman pantheons share same attitude toward holy name Yahweh.

Both history and holy scriptures totally agree that Egypt under their pharaohs carried out intensive hostilities against the name of Yahweh. For instance, when Prophet Moses pronounced that name (Yahweh) before the Pharaoh, he was infuriated and he called on his magicians to challenge Prophet Moses and his Yahweh he proclaim. This pagan attitude was same with Nebucadenezar of Babylon, Cyprus of Persia, Anticos Epiphanus of Greek and Emperors of Rome such as Nero etc. This was the same attitude of religious leaders of Judaism who decreed that the name should not be pronounced openly or in daily use.

This pagan attitude was copied by Roman Catholic Church and her daughters  Protestant and Pentecostals. And they have compelled Bible translators under their domain not to use the name Yahweh in their various translations.

Omitting of Yahweh’s true name in the holy scriptures is the most delusive and deceiving characteristics of Christianity  because the usage of the true divine name in worship and day to day activities is the sole and fundamental prefix of true believers.

The Christianity’s hostility on the divine name (Yahweh) continues as the ancient Egyptians, Persians, Greeks, Romans did in the past. For example, in a letter dated June 29, 2008, addressed to Presidents of Catholic Bishops conference, the Vatican stated as follows, “In the recent years, the practice has crept in of pronouncing the God of Israel’s proper name”.

The letter gave this direction: “The name of God is neither to be used or pronounced. For the translation of the Biblical text in modern languages, the divine name tetragramaton is to be rendered by the equivalent of Adonai/Kyrios (Lord)” This Vatican direction is in tune with the ancient style of hostility to the name of Yahweh by apex pagan nations.

Protestants have been less disrespectful in their handling of Yahweh’s name. Recently a spokesman for the protestant  sponsored New International Version of Bible published in English in 1978 wrote as such, “Yahweh is a distinctive name for God and ideally we should have used it. But we should have used it. But we put 21.4 million dollars into this translation and a sure way of throwing that down the drain is to translate for instance in Psalms as “Yahweh is my shepherd”.

So the love of monetary profit is the reason for the translation but not for the spreading of truth, especially over the accurate name of the creator. So Christianity and Egyptoism and other African traditional religion share almost some view over the use of divine name hence all of them omits it in their worship.

Each religious consciousness prefers its own made name more than using of the true name of Yahweh. This point is supported by David Clines in his essay, “Yahweh and the God of Christian Theology”, where he states, “one result of the absence of Yahweh from Christian consciousness has been the tendency to focus on the person of Christ”. The church prefer Christ to Yahweh and that fully turn them to be pagan because the name Jesus Christ is driven among pagan Greek worship.

Then if Christianity is equivalent to African religion, why did the former conquer the later? It is certain that numerous Christians consult earthbound spirits through necromancers and mediums, some observe pagan yearly festivals along with the natives. Some enquire from the auguerers about their departed souls and their nations. Some observe burial rituals and burial in tune with the African native religions. Yes all these are possible because both Christianity and African religions are engrafted and related. Both are ruled by the spirits in the world.

Various researches and analyses have proven that too many reasons supported the scientific and political will of Europeans to spread Christianity to African natives. Such reasons includes that Christianity compromised many pagan altitude of African natives and even allowed some of such practices to be part of church worship.
