“You Don’t Have Any Business In Gov’t House” Ateke Tells Amaechi

A prominent freedom fighter in the Niger Delta geo-political zone, Chief Comrade Ateke has called on Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State to vacate the Government House, saying that there is nothing to justify his (Amaechi) continuous stay in the Brick House.
Chief Comrade Ateke who made the call at the weekend, while speaking at the occasion of his first 5-Aside soccer tournament at his Okochiri residence in the Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State, said that there is nothing that the state Governor would do to turn around the economy of the state.
The ex-Niger Delta warlord regretted that the youths and the elderly ones in the state are passing through terrible pains, due to the economic stagnation of the state.
Chief Ateke frowned at the Governor’s high handedness and also the way and the manner in which he is insulting Rivers elders. Ateke further condemned Amaechi for his lack of respect for statesmen.
He accused the Governor of running a self-centred administration, stating that all projects embarked in the state are avenues for the Governor to siphon funds to his personal pocket. The freedom fighter blasted Gov. Amaechi for embarking on the monorail project, pointing out that he has no economic value for the people of Rivers State. ###
