Defection To APC…Farah Spits Fire …Warns Kalabari politicians

Barely one week after the defection of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and some of his loyalists to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), a frontline youth activist in the Niger Delta geo-political zone, Comrade Farah Dagogo has declared that APC cannot go far and it would not succeed in 2015general elections.

Comrade Farah who made this known at a press briefing in Port Harcourt on Monday, said that no amount of opposition would kick the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) out of office in 2015.

The youth activist who had earlier applauded the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, noted that the President has done much for Nigerians, therefore deserves a second term in office.

Comrade Farah advised all well meaning politicians in the country not to identify with the opposition APC, alleging that APC as a political party is death and buried at its arrival. “APC is one man party,” Farah declared.

“So there is no APC as far as Nigeria politics is concerned,” Farah said, noting that anyone who is identifying with APC is already a “drowning politician” that cannot see 2015.

Comrade Farah further warned Kalabari politicians not to defect to APC, saying that anyone who does that will face the risk of being declared “persona non grata” within the Kalabari kingdom.

The prominent youth activist who claimed to be instrumental to the electoral victory of PDP in the Degema Local Government said that the defection of the council chairman, Hon. Daddy Ibigoni Pokima is never a threat to the ruling PDP in the area.

His words, “Daddy Pokima is on his own, no good politician will follow him to APC. Daddy Pokima as a council chairman is not a political weight, therefore does not even have a political structure.”

Comrade Farah who described politics as “mafia game”, pointed out with anger that any council chairman from the three Kalabari speaking LGAs who decamps to APC would face the wrath of the masses.

“Our council chairmen, Ojukaye Flag Amachree, Theodore Georgewill and Daddy Pokima should take note that the masses would decisively deal with them if they continue to follow Governor Chibuike Amaechi and the APC”, Comrade Farah said.

He threatened that what has happened to the members of the opposition parties during their election, “Amaechi, Ojukaye, Daddy and Theodore should also expect that. We will flop them, since they are against us”, saying that “our LGA Chairmen are cowards because of fear of dissolution of the councils, they have decided to join Amaechi in a sinking boat. We shall deal with them when the time come”.

“We shall vehemently oppose any form of opposition within the Kalabari speaking LGAs and any part of the state”, Comrade Farah thundered.

He further promised to resist hoisting of APC’s flags in Asalga, Akulga, Delga and any of the local government council areas in Rivers State.

“APC should not attempt to hoist its flag in the state, because we will not allow it happens, this state belongs to PDP. If APC wants to do anything it should go to Lagos State,” Farah said.

Comrade Farah further predicted victory for the ruling PDP in more states of the federation in 2015 election, including Lagos and other Yoruba speaking states.

On his perceived House of Assembly ambition, Farah said, “power belongs to God. If God says it is me, no man, no politician can stop me. As far as I am concerned I am qualified to occupy the seat. But God has the final say. As a child of God I believe that power comes from above. I am waiting for God’s time”. ####
