Okorocha Should Be Allowed To Consolidate On His Initiatives – Eze-Uguru

EZE SLYVESTER ONUEGBUFollowing the strides of His Excellency, the executive governor of Imo State, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha’s, quest to put the state on the pedestal of development in the areas of education, empowerment and infrastructural development, among others.

The paramount ruler of Mba-ano Autonomous Community, Agwa in Oguta LGA of Imo State, HRH Eze Sylvester Okechukwu Onuegbu, Eze Uguru, Udo Mba 1 of Mba-ano Autonomous Community, has lauded the courage of the state governor in piloting the affairs of the state without fear or favour, particularly in his recognition and presentation of certificates of staff of office to 103 traditional rulers in the state, on the 31st of March, 2014.

Eze Uguru who made the commendation in his community, described the staff of office given to him by the state governor as a divine intervention, disclosing that he has been in traditional rulership in the past 8 years without a staff of office, which he attributed to the handwork of  his detractors .

He noted that the divine gesture of God through Okorocha to him, has vindicated him from gossips, adding that he has in line with the directive from the state governor, extended his hand of fellowship to all and sundry in the community and however, commended all those that have taken the bold step to come back to the fold, believing that others will follow suit in the interest and development of their community.

Udo Mba 1, who expressed deep appreciation to the administration of Okorocha, noted that Okorocha’s government has provided an ample opportunity for him to witness the extension of electricity poles, youth empowerment, free education among others, to his community, and further called on Imolites to persuade Okorocha to come back on a second tenure to consolidate on his laudable initiatives in the state.

On the developmental backwardness of Agwa, Eze Uguru said that those that have represented Agwa at one political position or the other have always attributed their inability to attract meaningful projects to the area on lack of fund, while calling on the state government to provide funds for traditional rulers to combat the brewing menace of cult boys in communities and the need to put a stop to that ugly trend, that is currently wrecking havoc in most communities of the state. ##
