Bonny CTC Chairman Assigns Portfolios To Members, Appointees

BONNY CHAIRMANThe members of the Bonny Local Government caretaker committee and other principal officers of the council have been sworn-in ceremony which took place at Bonny Local Government secretariat auditorium featured the designation of portfolios by the council chairman, Hon. Warisenibo Adonye Wilcox, on Monday June 2, 2014.

For the members of the caretaker committee, their designations are as follows: Ibifa, Dan Jumbo – Youth and Sports, Mrs. Dabota Bull Jumbo- Health, Mr. Ronald Wilcox – Education, Mr. Darlington Banigo- Agriculture, Mrs. Pirinye E. Ehuwa-Women Development, Mr. Daddy Dappa – Works.

Also sworn-in were Hon. Warisenibo Fubara D. John Jumbo who is the secretary of council and Mr. Dagogo Philip Brown, the chief of staff. Other appointments announced by the council chairman were: Mr. Opuene Jack Wilson Pepple-Chief Security officer, Mr. Christopher Halliday – Port Harcourt Liaison officer.

The council chairman while congratulating all the CTC members and the appointees, enjoined them to join hands with him to make life more meaningful for the people of Bonny. He promised to allow them do their jobs according to their offices and appealed to the people to extend their love for him to the members of caretaker committee.

In his speech, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bonny, Sen. Alabo Haniel JackWilson Pepple said the party will give the chairman of council and his team all the necessary support and cooperation.

The highlight of the day was the official handing over to the new chairman by the outgoing chairman, Barr. Edward Ebenezer Pepple, who thanked Bonny people for the opportunity to serve as the executive chairman of Bonny Local Government council for two tenures.

In a similar development the chairman of Bonny Local Government Council, Hon. Adonye Wilcox, has made more appointment for a smooth running of government.

Mr. Adolf Ransom Pepple is the senior media aide to the chairman, while Harriet Jamaica is the press secretary. Mr. Charles Abbey takes over the chairman of Road safety committee.

Meanwhile, the chairman , Hon. Adonye Wilcox has dissolved all functional committees with immediate effect. ###
