Rivers 2015: 16 PDP Guber Aspirants Against Wike Are Mischief Makers, Wishful Thinkers– APC Chieftain

MIKE WOSUA former Rivers State House of Assembly Aspirant under the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Chief Mike Wosu has described the agitation of 16 Guber Aspirants of PDP to disqualify Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike from the guber race, as mischief makers.

Chief Wosu, who is the Special Adviser on Revenue and Political Matters to Obio/Akpor CTC Chairman, Hon. Dr. Lawrence Chuku, said that the 16 Aspirants failed to listen to the earlier calls made by the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, to be mindful of Wike. He maintained that these aspirants paid deaf ear to the calls, with the belief that Wike was seeking for their support to President Jonathan.

Wosu noted that it was unknown to the 16 aspirants that Wike was only inaugurating Grassroot Development Initiative, GDI, for his personal gain and political ambition in the state.

On the recent call for a parallel government by Governor Amaechi, Wosu said he emphatically supported the call by the governor and described the call as rather coming later than expected.

He expressed that the state governor has not said anything wrong, but to tell Nigerians of what is yet to come.

Responding on the call by some stakeholders in Ikwerre ethnic nationality that the issue of zoning should be disregarded, Chief Wosu pointed out that those against zoning are PDP members that will also vote against Chief Wike on election day.

While commending the Chief of Staff, Government House, Chief Sir Tony Okocha, Leader of APC in Obio/Akpor LGA of the state, the SA on Revenue and Political Matters described Obio/Akpor Council boss, Dr. Chuku as the most favoured politician in the council and lauded his giant strides at the council.

Chief Wosu, who admitted cooperation among politicians in the area, regardless of partisan politics in every community of the state, said that the people of Rumuigbo Community in Obio/Akpor LGA of the State still meet and eat together as brothers and sisters, despite their party differences.

He was optimistic that APC will carry the day, despite the fact that they are yet to announce their guber candidate to the public.
