Bonny: CTC Seeks Supports

Last Thursday, Bonny council Secretariat was agog as the out gone CTC Chairman, Hon Adonye Dappa Wilcox handed over to the newly appointed CTC Chairman of the Bonny Local Government Council, Hon Mieadonye Harold Wilcox and his team.

The occasion took place at the Council Conference Hall where party faithful and well wishers gathered to receive their loved ones. In his speech, the out gone CTC Chairman, Hon Adonye Dappa Wilcox thanked the erstwhile members and his cabinet for good working relationship during his tenure.

Wilcox also lauded the workforce of the council for their maximum cooperation accord to him and his team. Wilcox appealed to the entire council staff to as well extend same good working relationship to the newly appointed CTC chairman to the council, noting that the incoming CTC chairman is a family brother, while assuming that he will do same like him in administrative matters.

In his remarks Hon. Mieadonye Harold Wilcox the new CTC chairman thanked the’ erstwhile council boss for his recommendations to the council workforce.

Mieadonye assured that his administration will work in accordance with lay down legacies as planted by the erstwhile CTC chairman.

The new council boss, however appealed for more support from the council staff and other related party faithful. He noted that his administration will not condone any body found wanting in his/her discharge of official duties, irrespective of rank and position. Adding that political appointees are also inclusive in the bench mark.

The CTC chairman used the opportunity to inaugurate members of Bonny LGA Caretaker Committee and their portfolios. They are Jonathan A. Hart — Education, Siminialayim Jumbo — Youth/Sports, Opuene J.W. Pepple — Culture/Tourism,

Godson Chris J. Pepple — Agriculture, Abiye Ibinabo Brown-West — Works, Ibikuno Brown — Health, Hon Israel Waribo Pepple — Secretary, Gogo Philip — Chief of Staff I, Others include Temple Banigo — Chief of Staff II, Richard Sotonye Stowe – C.S.O, Dinra Cleverly — Personal Assistant, Hector Pepple — Special Assistant, Dagogo Finecountry – Chief of Protocol, Adaobu Bluejack — Deputy Chief of Protocol, Adolf Ransom Pepple — Chief Media Aids and Harriet Jamaica Chief Press Secretary.

In his acceptance speech, the new council secretary, Hon Israel Waribo Pepple thanked the council boss and the party for honour done them to serve the council. He assured that the appointees will do their best in discharge of their official functions without fear or favour. ###
