There was pandemonium in Bonny, as gunmen numbering over six (6) invaded the Bonny main market. The criminals according to eye-witness were armed with dangerous weapons.
Information reaching our crime desk had it that the thieves who invaded the market forcefully collected money from the traders.
Speaking to news men, the Market Chairman, Wariopusenibo Pollyn condemned the incident and described it as “sad and unfortunate”.
According to him, such ugly incident has never occurred in the market and called on the security agents to ensure safety of lives and property of the traders. ###
