Grace House Lifts Trophy

King Brown International School, Aleto Eleme in Eleme Local Government Area, has ended its first interhouse sports with a charge to the pupils and students to always take part in sporting activities.

Mr. Brown Nwafor, Proproetor of the school gave this charge at the opening ceremony of the sports meet saying that, the only way students can be fit physical and mentally is getting involved in sporting activities. Sports have a way of making one to stay healthy in longevity.

He stressed that the schools’ interhouse sports would be an annual event, so as to prepare students for greater accomplishment in sports and to represent the local government, Rivers State in various sporting activities.

Speaking earlier, Chief Joseph Oluji, the traditional Ewu-u of Aleto and chairman of the occasion, called on parents to always encourage their wards to participate in sports, saying that “sports has made many to be great in life”.

Sports not only make one great. But make one to look young and healthy all the time”.

He also used the opportunity to call on the Rivers State government to create the enabling participate fully in sporting activities so as to make the state proud in the near future.
