Congratulations! My Grand Patron

nyesom-WikeThe gubernatorial election in Rivers State has come and gone, and a winner emerges in person of Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Dakuku Peterside came second position, while Tonye Princewill of the Labour Party went home with the third position.

Wike’s electoral victory did not come to me as a surprise. He worked tirelessly for it. Three (3) years ago he floated a very strong grassroots political structure known as the Grasssroot Development Initiative (GDI). This socio-political group has a lot of grassroots politicians across the twenty-three (23) local government area of the state.

I am the National Assistant Secretary of the GDI. The Grassroot Development Initiative, GDI used different acceptable democratic methods of seeking support for Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, who is the Grand Patron of the group.

The activities of the GDI resurrected the already camotose Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state. Unequivocally, the GDI played the role of a forerunner in the coming of the political messiah (Wike)

Wike’s emergence as the governor is the beginning of New Rivers State. Very soon Rivers’ economy will begin to bubble, the reason is that Chief Wike has all what it takes to move the state forward.

Wike’s GDI is the New Rivers Vision that stands for community development. Several rural towns and villages will in no distant time witness development, that will transform the lives of the Rivers people.

My heart leap for joy as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the Grand Patron of GDI, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike as the governor of Rivers State.

Let me use this medium to felicitate with my Grand Patron, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as he moves into the Brick House come May 29, 2015. May the Almighty God showers His blessings on him, as he pilots the affairs of State. Congratulations. ###
