Coach Amunike indeed is a lucky winner player and coach. He played to the top flight level and won the Nations Cup in Tunisia 94 and even represented Nigeria in the USA 94 World Cup and was crown Africa best player of the year.
Now as a coach, he has won the junior world cup with his tutored lads with amazing world record. First, he introduced a different midfield play that has never been played by any coach in the world stage, hence has earned FIFA respect.
Secondly, he has discovered Sunday Oliseh for Nigeria and the world in the young player of Kelechi Nwakali. These and more Coach Amunike has done in his first world cup stage as a coach.
Amunike has discovered the player, is left with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the football technical Director of Nigeria to allow or guide the young Oliseh’s alike in play to blossom to limelight.
Kelechi Nwakali is a player much desired to control the midfield of the Super Eagles in the future, if only the football authority or administrators of Nigeria would let the young man blossom to claim his place in the Super Eagles.
Only time will tell what becomes of the Amunike discovered new Sunday Oliseh of Nigeria. ###
