Rivers Journalist Bags Chieftaincy Title

The Paramount Ruler of the Ancient Kingdom of Woji, Eze (Amb) Sir Dr Emeka .G. Ihunwo (JP), last Saturday conferred chieftaincy titles on some of the illustrious sons of the area and a non- indigene at his palace in Woji to the admiration of the community members.

Speaking at the coronation ceremony, Eze Ihunwo said the criteria used in selecting the personalities for the chieftaincy titles were among other things, their immense contributions towards the growth and development of the community.

He admonished them to depend and solely rely on God for His guidance and protection. He also charged them to always seek the face of God in the course of administering justice in their various domains and compounds.

He, however advised them not to identify with any secret cult or group in their bid to acquire fame, wealth and power, saying God is the only divine personality who can give wealth and protection to humanity.

Continuing, Eze Ihunwo, advised them not to be abusive, but be patient with all men and always speak good of the community and noted that chieftaincy coronation been conferred on them was to mark his one year anniversary on the stool.

Among the chiefs was a notable Journalist, Chief (Sir) Ernest Chinwo (Eze isi — oma 1 of Woji) He works with Thisday newspaper. ###
