Abuloma: Monarch Cautions N/Deltans Against Militancy

The newly coronated Amadabo of Abuloma in the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State, HRM, (Brigadier-General) Bright Ateke Fiboinumama has advised the people of his community and the entire Niger Deltans to shun militancy, but should cooperate with the government and companies operating in the area in order to develop the region.

The Abuloma monarch gave the advice while speaking with journalists shortly after his coronation at the weekend. He said that whatever things that are happening in the region, the people should be hopeful and shun criminal activities that are capable of destroying the future of their children.

The Amadabo disclosed that his priority is to develop the Abuloma kingdom, regretting that the community has been neglected in the years past due to chieftaincy crisis. And assured the people that his reign will experience total peace and harmony in the community.

The Obeomomuodo of Abuloma recalled that during his service years in the military he has helped so much Abuloma indigenes to enlist into the Nigerian Army. He applauded the people of his domain and Okrika kingdom for the honour done him.

In his speech Governor Nyesom Wike who was represented by Hon. John Bazia, the Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs felicitated with the new Amadabo and assured him of his administration preparedness to work with the Abuloma monarch.

In his remark, Senator Thompson Sekibo expressed hope that the newly coronated monarch will deliver the expected development to the community and prayed God to give him the wisdom.

While speaking to journalists at the venue of the coronation, Hon. Evans Bipi, a lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly also expressed optimism that the new king will perform excellently. ###
