Asari Threatens None Existence Of Nigeria If… ….Set To Take Over Oil Installations If PENGASSAN Strikes

As the issue of the removal of fuel subsidy lingers on in Nigeria and the nation plunged into strikes as organized labour compelled the nation’s labour force into protests, insisting on reversal to the pump price of N65 per litre, an ominous threat loomed, but for the decision of the labour force to back out.
While there are group protests here and there for those who are either against or in favour of fuel subsidy removal, the leader of the Niger Delta People Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo has joined forces with other protesting groups in favour of removal of fuel subsidy.
The strong-hearted freedom fighter of the Niger Delta entered the protest with a twist, saying “if something happened to President Jonathan, “there will be no Nigeria.”
He threatened to mount oil installations with his group if Pengasan and Nupeng joined the strike, closing the oil wells, adding that if they ventured to apply any form of military might on his people, Agip, Shell and Mobil would know what stuff he and his men are made of.
However, the threat has been averted as the federal government on Monday, January 16, 2012, reduced the pump price to N97 as against 141 and labour calling off the strike.
Asari who demonstrated on the streets of Yenagoa and Port Harcourt last week, stated that he had to join the protest based on the prevailing openness of President Jonathan and his genuineness in administering Nigeria, when Boko Haram has not given him the slightest chance to interpret the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria.
Alhaji Asari, further stated that he was in the protest for two reasons; first is to support removal of fuel subsidy and the other reason is the emergence of Boko Haram, trying to disturb the reign of President Jonathan as president of Nigeria.
As it is, the Nigerian nation is at the verge of making history in changing the destiny of its people, depending on if the rest of the people in the country will understand the intentions of President Jonathan.
This change of price by President Jonathan has further proved that President Jonathan meant well for his people and he has the mandate to better the lot of every Nigerian within the four years he is supposed to be in office as Nigeria’s elected president.
More people are beginning to see the good intentions of President Jonathan over the removal of fuel subsidy, with the reduction of fuel price to N97.
A cross section of Nigerians in Port Harcourt interviewed, declared President Jonathan as a man of good heart for his people.
As at the time of filing in this report, many Nigerians are jubilating over the reduction of pump price, except in Lagos where news of protest still filtered in, compelling the federal government to send troops to the streets. ###
