According to information reaching The Newswriter Sports Desk, all is ready for the kick-off ceremony expecting soccer lovers to attend the glamorous annual soccer unity fiesta. Speaking to The Newswriter Sports Editor via mobile phone, Hon. Odum said the kick off is taking place on Saturday and expects all interesting lovers of unity in soccer to grace the opening ceremony. The Hon. Odum unity soccer fiesta has been an annual soccer programme established by the Hon. Chairman of Abua/Odual local government area and since it inception has not fail even an edition. The beauty of the competition is that many hidden soccer budding talents had been discovered for the state owned Sharks and Dolphins football clubs. The competition has become empowerment to the youths of the LGAs as lots of soccer talents were discovered for other promising clubsides in the country. As if that is not enough the chairman has made out sustainable salary scheme for some players who are camped under the welfare of the LGA coffers.
