Asalga CTC Chairman Rolls Out Four (4) Point Agenda

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government area Chief Odiari Princewill has rolled out four (4) point agenda which include: security, skills acquisition, agriculture and education.

The chairman made this known while addressing a cross section of Asalgans at Buguma, headquarters of the council at the weekend.

The Asalga boss who stressed the importance of agriculture, education, skills training, and security in the development of rural development, promised to constitute technical/advisory committee within seven (7) days to brainstorm and draw up comprehensive blueprint that will enable him to achieve his four (4) point agenda.

Chief Princewill called on the people of Asalga to be united, adding that no society develops under the atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.

He promised that his administration will pay bursary to Asalga indigenes in the higher institutions. The CTC Chairman thanked Asalgans for supporting the administration of Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, further promised to encourage staff of the council to embark on training and retraining programme in order to boost their productivity in the council. He described the workers as the engine room of the council, and commended them for hardworking.

He extended hand of fellowship to the Asalgans so as to enable him to succeed, noting that he will run an all inclusive government to usher in the needed development to the area.   ###
