OBIS Graduates/Matriculates 70 Students In PH

Overcomers Bible Institute And Seminary (OBIS) has matriculated twenty-seven student-pastors and convocated forty-three In Port Harcourt.

In his welcome address, the Founder and Rector of the school, Bishop David Eberechukwu disclosed that the school does not charge any fee based on the vision that established the Bible School which he said that Jesus told him when he has encounter with him directly saying “do not sell my word”.

However, he said boarding students take care of their feeding, but free accommodation and that the institute’s survival lies in the prayers of concerned saints and in the monetary and material support of well-wishers.

Eberechukwu said that the purpose of the Institute is to raise ministers through whose lifestyles the world will be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this to happened, he said they are made to study the word of God, the anointing and character development.

OBIS he said believes in academic excellence and is affiliated to St. Thomas A Becket University, Canterbury Kent, England and the school is a degree awarding institution and has been accredited by both West African Association of Theology Institution (WAATI) and Association of Christian Theological Society (ACTS).

He pointed out that their programmes include a 2 year programme in ministerial training, 3 year evening diploma programme in ministerial training and 4 year degree programme in various theological courses.

Bishop David Frank on how men of God mortgage the Gospel of Jesus Christ for money, advised that this should stop, assuring that overcomers products shall be exceptional in the field. ###
