Chief Imam Tasks Bayelsans On Peaceful Co-existence

The Chief Imam of Amarata Central Mosque in Yenagoa, Alhaji Abusufyan Uche, has stressed the need for all Muslims and Christians for peaceful co-existence in Bayelsa state and Nigeria at large.
Alhaji Uche made the disclosure while interacting with journalists at the judiciary complex, Yenagoa. Uche noted that no meaningful development would take place in an atmosphere of acrimony.
The chief Imam also stated the history of Sallah celebration as a religious obligation in killing rams and also the act of exchanging gifts to friends and well-wishers as the Holly Koran stipulated.
Alhaji Uche tasked Muslims and non Muslims to pray for the nation and to always live in peace to prevail. More so, he appealed to Muslims in Bayelsa state to be law abiding, describing Bayelsa as a peace loving and friendly disposed state.
