Hon. Dickson Will Deliver The Democratic Dividends – Hon. Ikiogha

Hon. Dikivie Ikiogha, a renowned administrator and former commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Bayelsa state has lauded the governorship ambition of Hon. Seriake Dickson in Bayelsa State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ikiogha, a close friend to President Goodluck Jonathan, and a strong supporter of the gubernatorial aspirant who served governor Timipre Sylva for several years, stressed that, Hon. Dickson would deliver the dividends of Democracy.
Dickson who is presently a law maker in the Federal House of Representatives, former Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, is representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency.
Hon. Ikiogha, while fielding questions from news men soon after the declaration of Hon. Dickson for the Bayelsa state Governorship election and the official unveiling of his campaign office at Okaka, described the resourceful law maker as the best aspirant to secure the seat, a grassroots mobilizer and an astute youth activist.
Ikiogha appealed to delegates of the forth coming primaries to vote for Hon Seriake Dickson, for total emancipation.
He further stated that the incumbent governor, Chief Timipre Sylva, has failed Bayelsans, hence Bayelsans are calling or crying for change, noting that Governor Sylva was not a founding member of PDP.
The former commissioner described the support base of Dickson as unique and of the highest class, which included past chairmen of PDP in Bayelsa state, such as Chief Alfred Agbedi who is also the campaign manager.
Others are, Hon. Waripamo Dudafa, former commissioner of local government and community development, Hon. Ndutimi Kumonibo, a great grassroots Political icon, Chief J. Turner, among others.
Ikiogha stressed that he is optimistic of Hon. Dickson’s emergence as governor of Bayelsa state soon after the PDP primaries.
Appealing to the electorate not to sell their votes for money which he said would mortgage their future, he said several challenges caused the clarion call for change in Bayelsa state.
“I hate lies and deceit,” Hon. Ikiogha added.
Finally, Hon. Ikiogha appealed to those not cleared in the screening of the governorship election to support Hon. Dickson for a better tomorrow, noting that Bayelsa project would be a collective project.
He tasked Bayelsans to support the president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan’s government in ensuring development, peace and aggressive development through the reformation agenda platform.
