NAWOJ Organises Thanksgiving Service

Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Rivers Chapter has organized a thanksgiving and re-dedication service to usher in the new year.
Speaking at the Royal House of Grace Church, Mile 4, Port Harcourt, the NAWOJ Chairman, Miss Enale Kodu said, the event was organised to appreciate God for successfully constituting the new executive to pilot the affairs of the body for the next three years.
She used the medium to thank the General Overseer of the Church, Apostle Zilly Aggrey for making a donation of two sets of computers to NAWOJ and promised that the facilities would be properly utilized to enhance the growth of the association.
Responding, the General Overseer of the Church Apostle Zilly Aggrey said, it was God’s delight that his Church, was chosen for the ceremony and enjoined them to create an enabling environment in the performance of their duties, especially in crises situations.
Apostle Aggrey who took his sermon from the book of John Chapter 8:32, urged journalists to discover the truth to enable them perform creditably.
Dame Lizzy Fombo, Director of News and Current Affairs, Radio Rivers and a founding Patron of NAWOJ in her remark, commended the General Overseer for his kind gesture and charged the new executive to take the Association to greater height. ####
