Late Elder Sampson Wichechukwu Goes Home

The remains of Late Elder Sampson Wobo Wichechukwu was committed to mother earth on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1.00pm in his country home in Oro-Akwor community in Rumueme Kingdom in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State.
In his sermon at the funeral service for the deceased, Rev. B. Akpojisheri of Newlife Baptist Church advised Christians to live a righteous life so that they would spend eternity in heaven at the end of their life here on earth. According to the man of God, Christians should not allow material things or the desire to achieve success make them enter into an agreement with the devil.
The first lesson of the service was taken from Hebrews 9:23-28 and it was read by the third daughter of the deceased, Miss Vivieth Wobo.
In his tribute to his late father, the first son, Mr. Emenike Dauglas Wobo described his late father as a peacemaker who left a great legacy behind for the family as contained in the Holy Bible, Gal. 5:22, 23.
Late Elder Samapson Wobo Wichechukwu was born in 1890 into the family of Late Elder Wichechukwu and Madam Bene Wichechukwu of Oro-Ihunwo in Rumu Elechi in Port Harcourt LGA of Rivers State. As a great farmer and fisherman, he was honest, hard working, gentle and trustworthy. He contributed immensely to the growth and development of his Oro-Akwor community.
Late Elder Wichechukwu was survived by his dear wife, Mrs. Christiana Wobo and six grown-up children comprising two boys and four girls who are doing very well in their chosen career. ###
