Omehia Gets More Support

Contrary to the usual practice where those who are defeated in an election lose all their supporters to the winning party, Sir Celestine Ngozichim Omehia, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in the 2011 governorship election, is still garnering support from groups.
Confident Restoration Association, CRA, a group of young men and women, has come out openly to say that come rain or sun, Sir. Omehia is their governor and are ready to stick to him till the end.
Speaking to The Newswriter, the association president, Mr. Reginald S. Jaja, said the members are very optimistic that Sir. Omehia would return as governor.
He said they have observed the antics of judges trying to delay the conclusion of the case in court against Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, which Sir. Omehia later joined.
The association frowned at the inclusion of a citizen of Rivers State as a member of the panel handling the case that concerns the state but hoped that justice would prevail at last.
They also hoped that the recent reforms of the judiciary would soon come into effect to make the judiciary more effective.
The group said Sir Omehia is a lovable man that would transform Rivers State into an enviable state, once he comes on board.
Officials of the CRA include, Reginald S. Jaja, President, Afinisidi L. Diri, Secretary, Emeka Nnadi, Treasurer, Alexander Ogolo, Elder, Rowland Brown, PRO, Casmir Ozoagbo, Financial Secretary, and Mathew Jaja. ###
