Omehia Will Soon Come Back-CRA

The die-hard loyalist of Sir. Celestine Omehia, Confident Restoration Association, CRA, has stated categorically that the one-time governor who is now the leader of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, will soon come back to rule Rivers State as governor.
Burning with enthusiasm, members of the CRA, represented by Reginald S. Jaja, president, Afinisidi Diri, secretary, Emeka Nnadi, Treasurer, Kpoola Lekie, Chukwuma Prendigal, Alexander A. Ogolo, Cashmir Uzogba, Obinna Ekechukwu, P.C. Brown Chukwudi Ikenkwu and Usen Elijah, members, spoke to The Newswriter on Sir Omehia’s case coming up at the Supreme Court in August, 2012.
Case number SC: 10512012, between Rotimi Chibuike, Appelant/Applicant and Celestine Omehia, Chief Cyprian Chukwu, Independent National Electoral Commission and Peoples Democratic Party, Respondents, is billed to come up in August 2012, according to the group.
They said they are unequivocally committed to support Sir Omehia because they know the outcome of the Supreme Court case would be in his favour and that he is a performer who will make Rivers people smile.
They accused the Supreme Court of robbing Omehia of his right and noted that the Appeal Court has realized its mistake.
Their words, “As we have stated before, we need somebody that can promise and within an interval or two or three weeks, you have something on the ground. We will stick to this man because he is the man that can transform the state. We want Omehia to come back and by the special grace of God, Omehia will come back soon and take over the mantle of leadership in this state despite the fact that the Supreme Court robbed him in 2007. That same Supreme Court has realized its mistake today. They said it was a party affair but in the case of Timipre Sylva and PDP, the same Supreme Court today has stated that it has no right to entertain party affairs.”
“We don’t believe in voting for party. We are interested in the individual. Some of us have worked with Sir. Omehia and we saw a governor being accountable to the state. He has conscience. Let him go to any party, we must follow him. We are not voting party, we are voting candidate, so if Omehia goes to another party, we will still follow him,” they went further to state.
They were visibly angry with the Supreme Court for giving contradicting judgments as it does not represent the hope of the common man.
However, the group lauded the appointment of Justice Mariam Aloma Mukhtar, the new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
“We believe great changes are coming to the judiciary. Many destinies will be restored as she brings her wealth of experience to correct errors made in the past. This will rekindle the hope of the common man in the judiciary,” they stated.
On Amaechi, they said, “Some persons may say that he is performing but for us he is not performing, considering the amount of money he has received and spent so far and what is on ground. He is deceiving Rivers People. ###
