Dietams Ends Session With Excursion Visit

Graduating pupils of Dietams International Schools have been charged with responsibility to become good ambassadors of their school and parents wherever they go.
Dropping the charge over the weekend, during their end of session activities, the proprietress of the school, Mrs. Kate LongJohn, also used the occasion to announce the school’s readiness to move to their permanent site come next academic session, in September.
She also revealed that the school will not only do well in their academic performance but will also have boarding facilities for both female and male students, respectively.
As part of their academic/social activities, the proprietress said the school proceeded on international excursion visit for the very first time that took them up to Togo, one of the Francophone countries in Africa.
According to her only six parents were able to meet up the trip.
Mrs. LongJohn also debunked the allegation by some parents that pupils are always left in their hands, saying that is a lie “even each of the classes has one teacher on standby.” “Besides” she maintained, “such parents must be one of those who turn up late in the evening to take home their children when the school must have closed”.
Earlier in her address the chairperson of the occasion, Mrs. Obayemi, applauded the school for their kind gesture. She also said the school is one of the best judging from their teachers, morals and religion, and that parents have good value for their money by sending their pupils to the school.
She maintained that parents should remember the task ahead by giving their children good moral education.
In a similar vein the chairman of the school’s PTA, chief Ibemorah Ossy Kalu addressing news men, said the teachers in the school are excellent and dedicated.
He said “all my children went through this school before going further to other schools.”
Chief Ossy Kalu who is also the chairman of Kalu Motors also used the medium to advise parents to send their children to Dietams International School for great value.
Other highlights of the occasion were Dietams news presentation, chorography, gift presentation and others. ###
