Although a lot of pastors in recent time establish ministries to make money instead of seeking for the salvation of souls. However, there is a rare woman of God, Rev. Mrs. Confidence Adindu, popularly known as Mama C, the General Overseer (GO) of Dominion Tower Ministries Int’l, Rumurolu, Port Harcourt. The woman of God vehemently decried those who are only interested in manipulating the people for material gain.
Mama C further said that pastors should refrain from the mindset of collecting from the people without contributing and uplifting their members, especially the down trodden, widows and orphans.
She explained that in her church, she has the widows ministry, which she said is an avenue towards reaching out to the widows through material and spiritual support. Besides, the amiable clergy woman said she has touched the orphans in rural areas such as the Daughters of Charity, Eleme and another at Timber, Oyigbo, while looking forward to other orphanages in Abia State. She advised men of God to do the same, adding that Christianity is not about luxurious acquisition, but sharing love among the week as Jesus Christ did.
The G.O also admonished the people to diligently study the word of God. Hosea 4:6. “A lot of people have been manipulated and destroyed because of ignorance. My ministry has delivered quiet a number of such people who went to the wrong place probably because of the crowd”
She warned those ministers charging money for counseling to read (Matt. 10:8)….. freely ye have received freely give. Therefore they should stop deceiving the people.
According to Mama C, any miracle without the word of God is a magic, for the bible says in Psalm 107:20, he sent forth his word and healed them; and rescued them from the grave. If only we can cool down to search the bible, we will discover the truth, this is important because a lot of pastors are not called by God they are mere business men. ###
