R/S Baseball/Softball Exhibition Match Ends Successfully

The Rivers State Baseball and softball Association on 7th July, 2013 was in the open field of Isaac Boro Park having its exhibition match to improve the players.

Speaking to The Newswriter sports desk, Coach Dennis Albert Dede disclosed that his Association decided to test run the players capacity in the sports, thus aimed at sharpening the skill of the players about the sports.

He further revealed that his Association is considering organizing a league for the players to show their true skill on the sports within the year.

He stated that his Association has decided to make the sport one of the much preferred sports in the state as he has in his plan to take the sports to schools in the state.

The Isaac Boro Park was venue for the exhibition match and it was a huge success, seeing players and technical the crews were impressed even as the exhibition match recorded a lasting impression in the minds of the people observing themselves doing it right noting that with the successful outing at Isaac Boro Park, they are optimistic and confident to take on any other sides in any league matches.

Coach Dennis  Albert Dede was particular elated for the success of the exhibition match . And is looking forward to a more successful outing  when the league kick off.
