Wike reacting on the political development on Obio/Akpor LGA, the elderstateman used parable to justify his wealth of experience, thus “Anybody who holds small boys thing and raise his hands up, will eventually bring it down, when time reaches” adding that, GDI can take over the leadership of the state by providing Governor come, 2015, they are already on top. I advised  that we should be law abiding and peaceful of course the change must come, he opined.

Chief Odiari Christopher Princewill also emphasized on the need for a positive change, stressing that GDI is the instrument for effective change in the state. “We are here to support, our brothers from Obio/Akpor to make occasion a success. As a leader of GDI in ASALGA we mobilized ourselves, nobody mobilized the grand you see today, we are in one accord, yearning for a change, that it why we are here. We are in the grand to win, the big crowd here can convince you that we are taking over the leadership of the state, come 2015. my advise is that everybody to embrace change with sincere heart, he stated.

Mr. Chibuike Egwunugwu, the coordinator of GDI, ward 9 supported that there is a need for a change, adding that GDI must bring the much desired change we are solidly behind Barr. Wike and President Goodluck.

But chief Stanley E.T. Amachree, the coordinator of GDI in his LGA. Berated, the leadership of Gov. Amaechi concluding that Rivers people have been suffering so much because of poor governance and worsened by latest political crisis, thus urging al the stakeholders to raise up to challenges and make effective change.
