Osaze Wants To play For Eagles …Soccer Fans React

OSAZEFollowing the proposed come back of frenzy Super Eagles power playing Osaze Odewinge to the Super Eagles, Soccer fans have reacted.

The clamour for Osaze inclusion into the World Cup bound Super Eagles under Keshi has taken the better part of the press, now Osaze has cried out that he wants to play for the World Cup bound Keshi’s Eagles.

It would be recalled that Osaze contributed in a way to the World Cup qualification in some earlier matches before the Super Eagles before the Nations Cup squad  and was left out of the team because of stubbornness. Since then, the power playing attacking midfielder has been in the bad books of Coach Keshi, hence his non invitation to the Super Eagles throughout the Nations Cup and second part of the world cup qualifiers.

The Newswriter sports desk sought the views of some soccer fans on Osaze’s coming to play for the Eagles and obtained the following reactions.

Hon. Armie Peters, a Councilor in the Port Harcourt Local Government Council has this to say, “if Osaze wants Super Eagles in the world cup, then his current form will determine that, if not he should not be part of the squad as the World Cup is not a place of experiment.

Bamson George, a civil servant serving in the Rivers State Head of Service office in his opinion said, Osaze wanting to play for the Super Eagles under Keshi would be determined by Coach Keshi.

He also said on the other hand, Osaze has disrespect to Keshi and fellow players, beside, he has not been having a regular play time in his current club, that will make it difficult adding to his stubborn attitude towards his managers to play for the Eagles at the world cup in Brazil.

Prof Solomon Braide, one time president of Goldashe International football Club of Nigeria in his opinion said, Osaze inclusion may cause disaffection to the already stabilized Eagles under Keshi’s guide, besides his current form is in doubt. ####
