A traditional ruler in the Etche ethnic nationality, HRM Eze Dr. Apostle E. N. B. Opurum has commended the League of Character Clubs Nigeria for immortalizing the crusader for good governance and a foremost nationalist, late HRH Chief Dr. Harold Dappa Biriye.
The Royal Father who made the commendation when the members of the League Character Clubs Nigeria visited him at his Palace recently, thanked the Club for promoting peace, love and unity in the country.
The Paramount Ruler had earlier applauded the Grand Patron of the Club, who is also the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for his development stride and that of his Transformation Agenda. HRM Opurum called on Corporate Organizations, Public Servants and well meaning spirited individuals to support the activities of the club financially and materially to carrying out its character moulding crusade.
Speaking, the President-General of the Club, Chief Eze Elder Christian A. Y. Kokoriko (Tourist) thanked the Royal Father for his continuous support of the club.
The President-General was represented by the Club’s Director of Women Affairs, Chief (Mrs.) Victoria Anderson, disclosed that the character club would soon organize character moulding crusade in the month of July across the federation. He called for support of individuals to succeed.
