Eleme Council Boss Identifies Nigeria Problem

The Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Philip Okparaji has lauded Nigerians for their efforts in stabilizing democracy in the country.

He has also attributed Nigeria’s problem to the leaders and followership.

Hon. Philip Okparaji made this remark during this year’s 55th Independence celebration while speaking with journalists at Eleme LGA.

According to him, Nigeria at 55th was not an easy journey; there were series of problems before Nigeria gained her independence.

The Eleme council boss who attributed Nigeria’s problems to leadership noted that Nigeria leaders were able to drive the economy, improve the economy and make Nigerians to feel the economy, by creating job opportunities, do the right thing while in the other hand, if the fellowers support their leaders Nigeria will improve rapidly.

He, however, called on Nigerians to support the present administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari especially on his crusade against corruption as to achieve his vision of moving the nation forward.

The chairman of Eleme LGA who commended Gov. Nyesom Wike for his developmental strides in Rivers State appealed to Rivers people to support him.

Meanwhile, the CHS Alesa Eleme emerged 1st position in a March Past competition organized by the Eleme LGA to mark this year’s 55th independence celebration, CSS Ebubu came 2nd while King Primary School Eleto took 3rd position.

On the para-military category Royal Rangers came 1st, Boys Brigade pulled the 2nd position while Girls Guide went home with 3rd.
