Eze Imordi Condemns Obi Wali’s Assassination

The monarch of Usonini, Eze Ogba Nwadei Ogbuehi, HRM Eze (Dr.) F.P Imordi, has condemned the assassination of Senator Obi Wali in a strong terms and asked politicians not to kill their opponents.
The monarch made this condemnation in Port Harcourt at the 8th memorial lecture of senator Obi Wali held at the main auditorium, Rivers State House of Assembly, adding that if they continue killing opponents who will remain or is the killer going to live alone in this world.
King Imordi further said that person who looks like a rival today may come to understanding tomorrow so there is no need of killing an opponent.
He further said that there is no peace for killers adding that if human law could vindicate them the law of God will catch up with them and they will pay with their blood.
Imordi who is said to have worked with Obi described him generous and good whose death has created vacuum for the Ikwerre, Rivers State and Nigeria as a whole.
Speaking on the marginalization of the Niger Delta by the federal government, the monarch urged the federal government to compensate and rehabilate the people of Niger Delta for the oil and gas they are collecting from their land that the people had lose a lot as they lost their fishing ground and farmland through spillage. ###
