The paramount ruler of Akpor Kingdom, HRM Eze Anele Oriebe has commended Mr. Paulinus Enyineka Nsirim on his 50th birthday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, saying that Mr. Nsirim was able to attain his present status as a result of his selfless contribution in the business of journalism.

Chukumele noted that those fighting the state governor may not have any tangible thing against him, but wondered why Chief Nyesom Wike, who was part of Amaechi’s success story in the first tenure, cannot eat with the state governor on the same table again, adding that something must have gone wrong.

The high chief who commended President Jonathan on what he has done so fair in the country despite inheritance of a lot of problems, urged him to take a critical look at some of the issues raised by Amaechi as regards the state’s under-development.

He further drawn the attention of Rivers politicians to the fact that Amaechi has done well in the state and the reason for whatever support and loyalty that he is getting in the state, particularly to those that have benefitted immensely from his administration.

He further appealed to all the political actors in the state to sheathe their sword for peace, noting that the political situation in the state when resolved will determine where and who the Rivers and non-citizens will vote, come 2015.

High Chief Chukumele who is also the Chancellor of the Rivers Union used the medium to call on Rivers politicians to sought ways of mending their political differences in the state, for the interest of the common people in the state as “Zombie”, pointing out that the youths are just following the politicians without knowing their reasons of following them.

The Rivers Union chancellor, however advised Rivers politicians to stop using the name of Mr. President to cause division in the state, noting that Rivers people have never said that they will not vote President Jonathan come 2015.###
