On behalf of others, the BOT chairman stated that the information contained in the said publication are baseless and should be ignored by members of the public, saying that the association did not authorize the president for such publication.

Mr. Echendu further frowned at Mr. Gabriel Ukpon who claimed to be the chief scribe of NIAB while he is not. Pointing out that in one of the general congress meetings held which was said that NIAB is not for sale to any group but it is allowed for individual’s decision and interest.

The group also alleged that Mr. Gabriel Ukpon is not a member of NIAB, that the said name is a ghost name.

The spokesman, however appealed to members of NIAB not to trade with the name of the association with any political group.

The ROT chairman used the medium on behalf of NIAB in Bonny island to appreciate the Amanayanbo in Council, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple and Bonny Council of Chiefs for their relative atmosphere of peace, love and harmony accorded to all the non indigenes residing in Bonny Kingdom. He also lauded the out gone chairman of Bonny LGA Hon. Barr. Edward E. Pepple for his tremendous development in the area and the cordial relationship he accorded to non-indigenes in Bonny during his tenures. ###
