Clergy Wants Pastors To Account For Church Fund

The General Overseer and Senior Pastor of the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) aka “Doctor Jesus” Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere last weekend at the Church Headquarters in Port Harcourt said Pastors of Churches who feel reluctant to judiciously make use of the Church funds to serve God and help humanity by putting smiles on the faces of less-privileged in the society should be asked to give account on how they manage their Church funds.

According to him, it is very ungodly for Pastors and Church Administrators who are in-charge of Church funds, not to use it to alleviate the sufferings of the less-privileged in the society to the glory of God.

Apostle (Dr.) Chibuzor Chinyere made the disclosure while chatting with journalists in Port Harcourt during the Child Dedication and Thanks -giving service of the only child of his family.

According to him, it has been a herculean challenge in his life, praying for people to have children, while he could not boast of any child in his life; but thanked God that the story has changed to the glory of God.

“It came to a point where people started questioning the authencity of his calling as a man of God, but hopeful that more children would come to the family”, he noted.

He, however advised people to have patience and always look unto God whenever face with any challenge in life.

“I have been a man from youth that loves children and it appears to be an irony of fate, that here is a man that loves children and yet has no child of his own”, he said.

He noted that since the inception of the ministries, the Church has sent some less-privileged children to different International Schools abroad on the ministries, scholarship without attracting any cost from their parents.

At the end, Drama presentations were show-case by some children in the Church to the admiration of the crowd. ###
