PDP NASS Primaries: Dum Deekor Floors Charles Wiwa

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election for Federal House of Representatives for Khana/Gokana Constituency ended with Hon. Dumnamene Deekor emerged the winner with 120 votes against his opponent, Charles Wiwa who recorded 1 vote.

The primary election was conducted at the Nigeria Police Station Bori, headquarters of Khana Local Government. Shortly after declaring the result, Charles Wiwa disagreed with the results of the poll said he was manipulated and deprived in the process.

Speaking to newsmen, Wiwa said that the primary was faulty.

According to Wiwa, the election was not free and fair and that he is going to make sure the party cancel it to conduct another one that will be transparent, free and fair where the winner will gallantly go home happily and the loser accept defeat.

In his acceptance speech, Hon. Deekor thanked supporters for considering him fit to represent them in the National Assembly and that the battle has not started since they are going to face the All Progressives Congress in the general election.

He promised them good representation, transparent leadership that will carry everybody along, empowering the poor making sure all enjoy the full dividends of democracy.

He further assured supporters that PDP is going to win all elective positions in the constituency from councilorship to senate asked them to continue in the battle for better day is coming to Khana/Gokana constituency.   ###
