2015: We Must Take Over Rivers Brick House– SDP Guber Candidate

The newly elected governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Rev. Minairim Harry has said he will beat the All Progressives Congress APC and Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidates and emerge governor of Rivers State in the forth coming 2015 general elections.

Rev. Harry gave the assurance when he emerged the governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party in Rivers State during the party’s primary elections at Mina Hotels in Port Harcourt last weekend.

The governorship hopeful who emerged winner in a keenly contested peaceful and fair election while commending his party members for electing him as their candidate lamented the ugly scenarios that have been displayed in the state and the nation which he described as terrible things in the democratic dispensation such as insecurity, killing of innocent citizens of Nigeria on daily basis, poor management of federal funds, lack of infrastructural development, educational backwardness as most students sat on the floor due to lack of provision of chairs. He lamented that students poor attitude towards attending public schools rather prefers private school as a result of lack of facilities to better the students, lack of access to health care centres among other ugly scenes in the present administration, assured the improvement of the lives of Rivers people if given the opportunity to pilot the affairs of the state in 2015.

Rev. Harry further assured Rivers people of creating employment and empowerment programme, good education, health facilities, agriculture for abundant of food, infrastructural development and human capital development amongst other.

Declaring Rev. Minaibim as the governorship candidate of the SDP in Rivers State the electoral officer described the election as free and fair and urged INEC to emulate the electoral process of the party by ensuring free and fair election in the forthcoming 2015 general elections.

Other candidates elected included House of Assembly members across the 23 LGAs of Rivers State, the House of Representatives members in various constituencies of Rivers State. ###
