Tears Of Nature

Eclipse untold, never to be told
Nightfall at noon, Omen of doom
stars remain in their bedroom
men gone to bed so soon
and the moon swept with a broom
Boom! That sounds like dynamite on
Our rivers, fishes took to their heels
Fishermen return to their tents with empty nets
And their canoes bedeviled.
Aerobic obstacles, molecules from flaring gases
Ozone layer perforated as a net
The scorching sun stationed at our zone
Health becomes the next bane to tackle
River/low and ebb forgotten in a hurry
Tributaries become channels of oil spillage
Aquatic lives scamper into extinction
Mother Nature pointed accusing fingers to men
Who took her daughters and their flowers,
Their beauties were gone with a fling
She still weeps, save her from more tears.
