The Rivers State Civil Service Commission has cleared the air on the retirement date of the Head of Service, Mrs. Esther Anucha.
A release issued from the Office of the Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission, Hon Ngo Martyns-Yellowe”and signed by him, said it had become necessary for the Commission to put an end to the controversy over the retirement date of the Head of Rivers State Civil Service , Mrs. Esther Anucha.
According to the release, available records in the Commission showed that Mrs. Anucha was born on March 25, 1955 and employed into the Service on September 7, 1977.
It further said that Mrs. Anucha is due retirement on September 7, 2012 after serving the mandatory 35 years which retirement process she has already commenced.
Mrs. Anucha kept a clean record since she was employed and has added value to the service in several ways since she was appointed Head of Service in October, 2007, the release pointed out. ####
